The fourth session in our programme of deep-dive discussion opportunities sees a small group of peers discussing how organisations within the sector (and beyond) may have to plan for, and then successfully manage the transition of current waste and recycling systems to the new requirements as outlined in the consultation documents by 2025. With industry insight from SUEZ recycling and recovery UK experts, this two-hour, informal session aims to enable timely and open discussion of a number of key issues concerning planning for transition in light of the consultations, including how to plan for and manage:

- The introduction of new services and systems

- The building of new infrastructure, and implementing changes to existing facilities

- The challenging timetable with multiple stages and projects

- The new critical pathways and interdependencies in services and infrastructure

Workshop participation

Each of the virtual, interactive and informal deep-dive discussion sessions are exclusively for customers of SUEZ recycling and recovery UK, and will feature a roundtable style debate with all participants actively engaging in the development of a common understanding and sharing their insights openly. There is an expectation that those registering for any of these deep-dive, roundtable sessions to have read through the consultation documentation, possess a thorough understanding of the industry and are likely to be involved in preparing a consultation response on behalf of their organisation. Participants should expect to join discussions with camera and microphone functionality, which will operate in line with Chatham House Rules.
